2.Collection and storage of personal data and the nature and purpose of their use

2.1When visiting the website

When you visit our website www.arotec-inspection.de, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information will be collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:

 The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. In no case we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you.

In addition, we use cookies and analysis services when visiting our website. Further details can be found under no. 4 and 5 of this privacy policy.

If you send us contact inquiries via e-mail, your details from the inquiry e-mail, including the contact details you provided there, will be stored in order to process the request and in case of follow-up questions. We will not share this information without your consent. The processing of your data is thus exclusively:

  • for the purpose of performance of the contract (Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR) or
  • in the context of our legitimate interest (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

You may object to the processing of your data at any time or revoke your consent to storage (see section 6 of this Privacy Policy under the headings “Objection” and “Withdrawal of Consent”). Mandatory statutory provisions – especially retention periods – remain unaffected.

3.Disclosure of data

  • this is legally permissible and according to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b DSGVO is required for the settlement of contractual relationships with you.

4.Cookies

The internet pages partly use so-called cookies. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not harm your device, do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malicious software.

In the cookie information is stored, each resulting in connection with the specific terminal used. However, this does not mean that we are immediately aware of your identity.

On the one hand, the use of cookies serves to make the use of our offer more pleasant for you. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These are automatically deleted after leaving our page.

5.Analysis Tools

5.1 tracking tools

 The tracking measures listed below and used by us are based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO. With the tracking measures to be used, we want to ensure a needs-based design and the continuous optimization of our website. On the other hand, we use the tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offer for you. These interests are to be regarded as justified within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

5.2 Google Adwords Conversion Tracking

To statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our website, we also use Google conversion tracking. In doing so, Google Adwords will set a cookie (see section 4) on your computer if you have reached our website via a Google ad.

These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Adwords customer’s website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognize that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page.

Every Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can not be tracked via the websites of Adwords customers. The information gathered using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Adwords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. Adwords customers hear the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a conversion tracking tag page. However, they do not receive information that personally identifies users.

If you do not want to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the required setting of a cookie – for example, via a browser setting that generally disables the automatic setting of cookies. You can also disable cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain “www.googleadservices.com”. 6.1 Information

You can ask us for information about whether personal data is processed by us.  6.2 Correction and completion

If you discover that we have inaccurate personal information, you may require us to promptly correct this incorrect information. In case of incomplete personal data concerning you, you can request the completion.

6.3 Deletion

They are entitled to be deleted (“right to be forgotten”), unless the processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression, the right to information or to fulfill a legal obligation or to perform a task of public interest and one of the following is true:

  • The personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were processed.
  • The justification for processing was only your consent, which you have revoked.
  • You have objected to the processing of your personal data that we have made public.
  • You have objected to the processing of personal data not disclosed to us and there are no legitimate reasons for the processing.
  • Your personal data was processed unlawfully.
  • The deletion of personal data is required to fulfill a legal obligation to which we are subject.

 There is no claim for deletion if, in the case of legitimate non-automated data processing, deletion is not possible or only possible with disproportionately high outlay due to the special nature of the storage and your interest in deletion is low. In this case, the deletion is replaced by the restriction of processing.

6.4 Restriction of processing

  • You may require us to restrict processing if any of the following applies:
  • You deny the accuracy of your personal information. The restriction may be required in this case for the duration that allows us to verify the accuracy of the data.
  • The processing is unlawful and you require instead of deletion the restriction of the use of your personal data.
  • Your personal information will no longer be needed by us for the purposes of processing that you may need to assert, exercise or defend your rights.
  • You have contradiction gem. Art. 21 para. 1 DSGVO. The limitation of processing may be required as long as it is not certain that our legitimate reasons outweigh your reasons.

 Restriction of processing means that the personal data are processed only with your consent or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims or to protect the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest. Before we lift the restriction, we have a duty to inform you.

6.5 Data portability

You have the right of data transferability if the processing is based on your consent (Article 6 (1) sentence 1 (a) or Article 9 (2) (a) GDPR) or on a contract to which you are a party and the processing is done using automated procedures. The right to data portability in this case includes the following rights, provided that this does not affect the rights and freedoms of others: You may require us to receive the personal information you provide us in a structured, common and machine-readable format, you have the right to transfer this data to another person without hindrance on our part. If technically feasible, you may require us to transfer your personal information directly to another person in charge.

This also applies to a profiling based on Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 letter e) or letter f) of the GDPR. You may at any time object to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes. This also applies to a profiling associated with such direct mail. After exercising this right of objection, we will no longer use the personal data concerned for direct marketing purposes.
